What the law asks of you

1. Must be registered with the State of NC.
2. Must have a Federal ID # / EIN #.
3. Must provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) naming NC Food Commissary LLC as additionally insured, with coverage of $1 million per occurrence / $2 million aggregate.
4. A copy of a Cumberland County Health Department Permit. Mobile food units also need proof of inspection from Cumberland County Health Department and a copy of the sanitation report.
5. Current Food Managers Certificate for member food managers on site, and Food Handler’s Certificates for all other member employees handling food. One member employee with a Food Managers Certificate must be on premises at all times while using the kitchen.
6. Nonrefundable Orientation and Account Setup fee of $150, due upon signing of the kitchen agreement.
7. Refundable security deposit of $250, due upon signing. Refunded if the member leaves in good standing.
8. Unused kitchen hours per month do not roll over. Additional hours bill at member pricing on the next invoice.
9. Services billed monthly, due by the 5th. Past-due invoices incur a $50 per day late fee. Twenty days past due is cause for cancellation.
10. Food Corridor is required for scheduling. New members receive a signup link.
11. Voxer is required for member communication (walkie-talkie app for voice and images).

The FAQ also lists a $75 commissary letter fee due on signing, alongside the $150 orientation fee and the $250 refundable deposit.
